People Before Property. Getting to Know Your Jacksonville, FL Property Manager

Tiea Vincent - Thursday, July 26, 2018

My name is Tiea Vincent, and I’m the broker and owner of Round Table Management. Today, I want to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about the company that I’m so proud to run in Jacksonville, Florida.

Commitment to Family and Community

My husband has 18 years in the Navy, and he is stationed here in Jacksonville. We recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary, and we have one daughter who is nine years old.

I got my start in the property management business about 15 years ago (which I hate telling people, because I feel like it ages me!). For me, property management is all about helping people. A lot of the homeowners we work with are in the military, and they have relocated. Maybe they have a home here that they couldn’t sell because of the down market.

When people are stuck with a home and they don’t know what to do, I give them the opportunity to keep the asset and make some money.

Rescuing Landlords in Trouble

At least once a month, I take over the management of a property where the homeowner placed a tenant themselves, and now the tenant isn’t paying rent or isn’t taking care of the property. I step in and get the money collected or get the tenant out and the home back into a condition where it can be rented again. And, we move forward. The benefits of working with Round Table Management is that I’m good at cleaning up other peoples’ messes.

Saving Landlords Money

I recently took over a home that hadn’t been inspected in over two years. When I did my inspection, I found there was a wall infested with carpenter ants. While that’s always bad news for a homeowner, the good news is that I caught it before there were any big structural issues. A repair that might have cost $20,000 if the problem had gone undetected is now only $1,200. Property management companies understand how maintenance should be handled.

I don’t know about changing the world, but what I do for my homeowners changes their worlds.

We believe in people before property. If you’d like to hear more about what we can do for you, please contact us at Round Table Property Management.
